Hello

By Nathan | January 5, 2006

Hello everyone! I know that it has been an extremely long time since I have posted something, just to post something. Over the last month, I’ve been extremely busy, and the only thing that I have posted is info about the site. I know! It’s kind of boring. Anyways, I hope that you are all doing well. Jenny and I have had a great break from school so far. Christmas was great! I got to spend it with all of my family in Roanoke, VA. Christmas just isn’t Christmas without your family. Last weekend we had Jenny’s parents here. We had a really great time, and 6 people in a 1 bedroom apartment, that’s fun. Ah, yes! Then there was the dreaded clean up of the Christmas tree! Sure it was easy to get into the house, but to get out??? If you’ve never been to our apartment, our apartment is on the 2nd story, but we have a private entrance to our apartment, which means that the stairs to the downstairs is inside our apartment. With Jenny manning the top and me on the bottom we prepare to take the tree down the stairs. (After of course it made a big mess!)

As we proceed to try to take it downstairs we realize that the tree will not fit. Yes, the tree grew! Actually all the limbs had dropped, therefore making the tree extremely large! Anyways, in order to get the tree through the tight stairway, I proceed to grab the entire tree and try to crush it in my arms. (That was funny!) Well to make a long story short, we got the tree out with minimal damage to the walls. We took the tree to the dump, and had a great evening.

If this story sounds boring to you then, you’re right! It probably is! However, there really hasn’t been anything of great interest that has happened in our lives in order to write about. Sounds boring? Nope! It has been wonderful!

I enjoyed reading the article on “Removal of the Christmas Tree.” David and I had to laugh ourselves getting our own tree out. However, our’s wasn’t quite as full as the Miller tree. Glad you both are able to relax and have a little fun. Tell Desiree that I said hello.
