Hello in March…

Hi everyone! Can you believe it’s March already? I am starting to come to grips with the fact that Spring is fast approaching. I think March 21 is the first official day, but Mr. Weather in Raleigh, NC doesn’t seem to realize it’s only March 8. I have hardly worn my scarves and gloves all season! What a disappointment. It will be in the 70s and 80s the next few days. I guess I’ll be pulling out my summer clothes. What a shame! I guess in light of 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (Give thanks in all things, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.) I should start counting my blessings. That is a very easy task as I have so much to be thankful for! I’m thankful for the few snow flurries we’ve had. While the snow never stuck to the ground, there’s just a magical feeling about being outside and seeing little white snowflakes fall all around you. I’m also thankful for my wonderful husband. If you read his last post (about my birthday), you know how blessed I am to have married such an incredible guy. God has given us both great families - we love you guys so much! And our friends are just like family to us. If you’ve viewed the pictures from my birthday party with the Burtons, you can see how much fun we have together. I’m grateful for the Burton’s friendship. Who else would have decorated their yard and house and silly stringed me when I came in??? That takes special people - like David, Desi, and Tom. Thanks, guys, for making my birthday special! Nathan and I are actually sitting at our favorite coffee shop waiting for David and Desi, and so I will close so I can enjoy my white chocolate mocha (and Nathan’s milkshake). We hope you all are doing well!
