The Same Color??

Today Jenny and I received a visit from the carpet repair men to fix a place in our carpet that had frayed. For those of you who have been to our apartment before, it is between the dining room and the living room underneath the ugly blue rug. It has been like that for a while, but we have put off talking to the apartment staff for a while because we have been so busy.
Well, today was the day when we would no longer have to cover up the shame of our carpet, so we thought. The visit from the carpet men began with disapointment when they told me that they no longer had my color carpet in stock. Therefore they would have to take a patch from one of our closets to fix it. Well, what do you say? I gave the go ahead, and sent them to the junk closet to get the patch. Well, they pulled the patch, fixed the closet and “repaired the fraying carpet;” or did they? You be the judge!
Is this the same color? We are thinking that it is not. However, the apartment manger told us to let it wear for a few weeks. Maybe it will change colors right before our eyes! Who knows??? What do you think??

Not likely unless you paint the rest of the floor the same color.

I’m thinking the carpet is not old enough to have changed colors that much…not the same carpet!
