Urgent Prayer Need

I have a prayer request that I’d like to share with you all. A couple from our Sunday School class have a little boy named Josiah. Josiah is about 9 months old and has had more than his fair share of health problems since birth. He has holes in his heart and has been on medication to help them heal. His parents, Jason and Shannon, have to take him to the cardiologist every two weeks to have his heart checked, and last week they got bad news. The holes in Josiah’s heart have gotten much worse in the past two weeks. The doctors have instructed Jason and Shannon to prepare for Josiah to have open heart surgery in two to three weeks. Josiah has an echocardiogram Monday. On Friday, his case will be taken before the doctors at Duke University to discuss possible options. Their decision is critical as Josiah is so young and might require future surgeries to fix the holes in his heart. Please lift this little boy and his parents up to the Lord. They are facing some very challenging days ahead.

Hey Nathan and Jenny! I hope you guys had a great vacation up in Roanoake! I miss you guys a ton! We will all be praying for the couple in your Sunday School class and their son.
