September 12 - A Good Day

By Jenny | September 12, 2006

Today marks a very memorable day for me - a day that changed my life. You see, five years ago today, I met an incredible man named Nathan Miller. Nathan and I were both R.A. (Resident Assistant) Candidates at the Word of Life Bible Institute in Hudson, Florida. The very first time I spotted Nathan I thought he was very attractive. Nathan’s family was standing with him, and he happened to have his arm around his sister, Corrie, whom I took to be his girlfriend. So on the first day of R.A. Training, I labeled him off-limits. Later that week Nathan made sure I understood he was available. And we hit it off immediately. Now, five years later, we’ve been married for a little over two years. Two amazingly wonderful years! What an incredible man God has blessed me with! Nathan is such a loving, caring husband. He is always thinking of ways to express his love for me. I never could have dreamed on September 12, 2001, that God was introducing me to the man with whom I’d spend the rest of my life. I realize that’s a lot of mushy, gushy, love stuff. I’m sorry if I have grossed you out, but I wanted the world to know that Jenny Miller is incredibly grateful for her husband, the man of her dreams.  I love you, Nathan!
