November is here already?
By Jenny | November 9, 2006
Where does the time go? Can it really be November 9 already? That means there are only four weeks of school left for the semester!!! YAY! Nathan and I have been pretty busy with school lately. We have a lot to write about. In late October we flew to Atlanta to visit with Mom and Dad and attend First Baptist Woodstock’s Bonfire Conference. Nathan and I were really challenged and encouraged. We are so excited about our future and what God has in store for us. Please be in prayer for us as we seek the Lord’s guidance on a location for a church plant. We only have three semesters of school left - that means we’ll graduate in May of 2008. After that, we’re not sure where we’ll be headed, but we know God already has it under control. One of my favorite quotes is from Corrie Ten Boom - “Never be afraid to trust the unknown future to an all-knowing God.”
In other exciting news, Nathan’s sister, Corrie, is expecting her first child on December 28. We are looking forward to meeting little Olivia Grace.
Only one more week and then Thanksgiving! We are looking forward to seeing all of my family in Florida. We’ll also get to visit Word of Life Florida where Nathan and I met. It’s been three years since we’ve been down there. It will be a quick, but fun trip.
I hope all of you enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving. As children of God, we have so many things to be thankful for. I’ll leave you with a passage I’ve been studying lately. But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:4-7
