Happy Birthday to Dad…

The world’s greatest dad turns 50 today!! Happy Birthday, Dad! This birthday is very special to us. This past Monday, May 14, was the six month anniversary of Dad’s cancer diagnosis. When we first found out that Dad had pancreatic cancer, we didn’t know what kind of prognosis he’d receive, or even if he’d be around to see his next birthday. We are so grateful that God, in his grace, carried us all through major surgery, and that Dad is doing so well today (just 17 weeks post-op). In fact, Dad even played a full 18 holes of golf yesterday! Thank you so much for your support and encouragement of our family. Your prayers have meant so much to us. Dad, thanks for being the most awesome dad to your three girls. We love you and are so excited to spend some time with you next week!

That’s awfully nice of you and super sweet to read about how much you care for your ole’ dad! I am one blessed man to have such good, kind and considerate daughters. (You’re my favorite, of course.)

I hadn’t heard anything about your dad.
Good to know that he is doing well. Golf is therapeutic ;).
My mom found some pictures from when we were at WOL so I decided to check up on you.
