Introducing Joshua David Miller
By Jenny | August 4, 2007
That’s right! Nathan and I had our ultrasound Thursday and were delighted to find out that we are having a little boy. Dad and Mom drove up (what dedicated grandparents!) for the appointment, which made it even more enjoyable!! The technician spent about thirty minutes with us, so we were able to watch Joshua move around - he was very active. At one point we watched as he opened his mouth, grabbed his umbilical cord, and put it in his mouth. It was an amazing experience, and we are grateful to be able to call Joshua by his name now instead of calling him “it” as we were forced to do before we knew his gender. We were also thrilled when the technician printed out 8 photos for us to keep (I think she was only supposed to give us one). Nathan and I are so thankful for a healthy pregnancy so far and a sweet little boy that we cannot wait to hold in our arms! (Click here to see all the pictures!)

Awww! Boys are wonderful! (and Ray says all the troubles in our family are caused by females!) Anyway, congratulations, and keep eating healthy and getting plenty of rest, Jenny!

What a cute little kid, already! Your mother and I priase God for you both, and for allowing us to choose to be a part of your big day. I’m very proud of you, Jenny. You seem to be so gifted in the area of motherhood and hospitality. Nathan, you make a father-in-law proud, too. Thank you for taking care of Jenny and for providing for Joshua and the babies yet to come.
