Joshua is here!!

Sorry for my tardiness in posting, but life over the last few days has been very hectic. Much to our surprise, on Wednesday December 12th, Jenny’s water broke and at 9:41pm our son Joshua David was born. He weighed 7lbs 2oun and is 20in long. The three of us have had a wonderful time together, and I personally am enjoying fatherhood. It is better than I ever imagined. Thank you all for your prayers. It is only through the Lord that we can make it in this world.

Thanks for being dilligent in posting these updates. I really appreciate being able to look at my grandson. He is indeed a gift from God!

I can’t wait to get back over there to hold Josh again! It’s unbelievable–the feeling of being a gradfather! Great pictures–lots of folks telling us he’s beautiful, which we knew (of course).

What a shock tonight when Nathan stopped by to share the news and the pictures. I am so glad that everyone arrived for Christmas. Joshua looks like he is glad that he could join the celebration also. I know that this will be an extra special Christmas for the entire family.
I look forward to meeting Joshua and I will hold a spot @ the 9:30 Nursery on Sundays.
A truly blessed event and I am happy to hear everyone is doing so well.

Nathan and Jenny, Thanks for posting the pictures! This is one anxious great-aunt who can’t wait to meet (and hold) little Joshua in person! I loved the gallery. Jenny is a beautiful mommy, and I’m very proud of you both for reading to Joshua already. As I suspected, you are incredible parents! We love you all and look forward to visiting soon.
